The leaves are starting to turn and soon they will show us how effortless it can be to let go.
We will begin the evening by creating a Sankalpa (determined resolution and deep intention) that is focused on letting go of the things that hold us back so that we can make space to bring in new energies.
Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep.
During this session, participants will be guided through various phases of relaxation and visualisation which focus on the physical, mental and emotional bodies. This leads to a deeply relaxed state, the balance between asleep and awake.
Sound Healing is a technique whereby the practitioner plays a variety of specialist instruments including singing bowls, bells and chimes in a way that invokes deep relaxation.
Each participant is bathed in the sound waves that are produced. These sound waves stimulate a chemical reaction in the body that shifts the nervous system into the Calm Response (the opposite of fight or flight).
When Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing are combined, the effect is magnified significantly.

During Yoga Nidra participants are required to remain completely still for the duration of the session. Please bring anything necessary to ensure as much comfort as possible. Here is a recommended list:
