Reiki is the ancient Japanese healing technique which by laying hands on different parts of the body, the practitioner channels energy from the universal life force that lives in everything in order to heal. Reiki energy restores both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Reiki uses a variety of energetic symbols which are used to direct the energy to the client. By using these symbols, the energy can be sent over distance as well as in direct contact with someone.
Reiki is a deeply relaxing therapy requiring nothing from the client other than a willingness to participate and the desire to heal. Often, insights will be shown intuitively to the practitioner and they may discuss this at the end of the session.
