
Why being good at multitasking sucks! Just a super quick post because I really just wanted to give you my FREE worksheet that guides you through an exercise on how to start improving your focus and concentration on doing one thing at a time.
But, before I give you the worksheet, a little context: Multitasking sucks!
Do you relish the challenge of keeping all the balls in the air (AKA multitasking)? Are you a master of staying on target with work deadlines, parenting (and probably homeschooling) and keeping on top of daily chores? Or do you find it all a bit overwhelming?
TRUTH BOMB! 💣
You can’t multitask, it’s a myth! The brain can only focus on doing one thing at a time. The key is to learn how to keep your attention on doing one single thing. That way, you do it properly, without errors and most likely, you’ll achieve the goal faster because all your attention is on the prize.
The more you practice focusing on one thing at a time, the better you get at it, meaning your productivity goes up and you get more done.
